Budweiser Redesigns Labels To Make Its Bottles Selfie-Friendly For Beer Lovers
By Izza Sofia, 04 Feb 2020
Budweiser has introduced SelfieBuds, special edition bottles designed with its traditional logo flipped.
The idea of a mirrored logo is so that when a picture with a bottle is captured in selfie mode, Budweiser’s branding is completely legible in the photo.
Budweiser acknowledged that selfie modes in phone cameras often result in pictures being flipped. Therefore, it was inspired to create “the first beer in history made for the selfie generation,” according to Lisa Smith, an executive creative director at Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR).
The beer bottle packaging was introduced at the BUDX Super Bowl weekend in Miami hosted by celebrities and social media influencers.
