YouTube Reveals Its 10 Most-Viewed, Most Compelling Ads Of 2020

With the shakeup of routines and plans in 2020, YouTube saw people turning to its platform to escape from their uncertainty. This year, the video-sharing site witnessed a remarkable 470 million+ views and over 1.3 million likes on advertisements alone.
YouTube’s most popular commercials of the year made audiences laugh, and sometimes even cry. Viewers undoubtedly related with Apple’s hilarious sketch of working from home, felt a lump in their throat with Google’s emotional Loretta Superbowl campaign, and might no longer be able to shake off John Kransinski’s “smaht pahk” from their heads whenever they spot a 2020 Hyundai Sonata.
The advertisement that stole everyone’s hearts, though, was Nike’s You Can’t Stop Us illustrating resilience in sports through the comeback stories of Serena Williams, Lebron James, Tiger Woods, and more.
Also notable was that out of the 1.3 million likes for 2020’s advertisements, 714,000 went to Clash of Clan’s short, Lost and Crowned.
