Constructed with passion, precision and perfection.
The Monterey Bay F.C. crest was design with simplicity and symmetry in mind. The upward curved lines found in the centre of the crest represent the movement motion of the sea, with the flat, solid lines below representing the rows of crops found in the area, the two lines combine, as the land becomes the sea, and the sea becomes the land.

I created a custom typeface to enable Monterey Bay F.C.’s brand to be more recognisable, unique, and ownable. The typeface design is tall and athletic, industrial and bold. This custom typeface will be used across all brand merchandise and communications.

The the photography style has a steely, crisp look, taking inspiration from the steely shipyards and fishing ports that the community is known for. To launch Monterey Bay F.C.’s exciting new brand identity, I wrote, directed, and edited a short film entitled; The Greatest Union of Land and Sea. This epic short film shows the story of a farmer and a fisherman coming together to meet on the football pitch.
Overview
Monterey Bay Football Club's brand was created to represent both the agriculture that the area is famed for and the fishing industry that locals and tourists enjoy. These two forces of nature combine within the crest to form a union between land and sea.
